Distinguished Alumni Nominations - Texas A&M University

Since 1968, the Distinguished Alumni Awards have honored alumni and members of the Javelina Family who have distinguished themselves in their profession, community, and through service to the university.

Nomination Categories Include:

Distinguished Alumni Award
presented to alumni who have demonstrated longtime and successful commitment to their careers and communities and have brought special honor to the university because of their accomplishments. The Distinguished Alumni Award is the highest university award presented by the Javelina Alumni Association.

Rising Star Award
recognizes alumni of Texas A&M University-Kingsville who have experienced professional success and who are within 15 years of their graduation (2007-2023).

Blue & Gold Service Award
is presented to a deserving individual who embodies the four pillars of the Javelina Alumni Association. They are connected with the University and the community, participates in events, has Javelina Spirit, and supports the values and mission of the institution. This award may be awarded to an individual who did not graduate from the University.
