March 17, 2020 (Kingsville, TX) – Out of an abundance of caution and concern for the health of our donors and university supporters, the Texas A&M University-Kingsville Foundation has announced the cancellation of the 2020 President’s Legacy Ball scheduled for April 18, 2020.

This decision is to limit the risk of spreading COVID-19, known also as the coronavirus, in accordance with the CDC recommendation to cancel upcoming events with more than 50 attendees.

The Legacy Ball is the university’s primary event for recognizing donors annually, honoring new members of the Legacy Society who have shown tremendous philanthropic support for Texas A&M-Kingsville in their lifetime. The proceeds raised from this event significantly contribute to the University Scholarship Endowment and our ability to award scholarships to deserving Javelina students in pursuit of their dreams. We regret we will not host the event this year, but look forward to honoring our Legacy Society donors in 2021.

Thank you for your sponsorship, support and donations, which are now fully tax-deductible. For questions, or to apply your sponsorship/tickets towards our 2021 event as credit, or to request a refund, please contact us at 361-593-2678 or giving@tamuk.edu.
