Dr. Manuel and Jane Ibáñez Memorial Scholarship and Fellowship - Texas A&M University

Dr. Manuel Ibáñez, served as the 14th president of Texas A&I University/Texas A&M University-Kingsville from 1989 to 1998. After stepping down as president, he stayed on as Distinguished Professor in the biology department. After leaving Texas A&M-Kingsville, Ibáñez was an adjunct instructor at Del Mar College teaching biology.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Jane.
